About the Class
Autonomous Robotics is a live, hands-on experience where your child will build a more capable robot and dive into true autonomy. Over ten weeks, we explore the three essential pillars of robotics: perception (precise sensors), decision-making (meaningful logic), and action (motors and servos). Each 50-minute session features custom-designed projects that show how sensors feed into smart decisions and actions.
Projects range from assembling the mBot2 robot to programming it to follow lines, avoid obstacles, and even perform a song-and-dance routine. Students customize their robots using 3D-printed mounts, brackets, and LED accessories, and learn to interact with AI to give their robot its own “personality.”
No prior coding or robotics experience is required—just basic computer skills and a willingness to explore. The class kit must be ordered separately and brought to Session 1 so your child can participate fully.
